Techs beginners should look to learn?

There's wave dashing, L cancelling, SHHFL'ing and dash dancing, but are there any more that a beginner melee player should learn?

Those are the basics, character-specific tech is necessary, so depending on your character, you'll need to learn that. There's also a lot of other things that you'll learn as time goes on, but past basics, work on mind games.

Also, you need to learn teaching if you don't have that down already, and you'll learn more about spacing as you play the game.

I see you main Marth so I would look in the Marth boards for more character tech skill, like IASA frames.
