Welcome to the official thread of up and coming 2d Fighter, Technials!

Here at Mecha Gaming, we're aiming to make a classic just that bit more enjoyable. We aim to make the ultimate in competetive fighting games. And we need your help. If your a budding Artist / Sound Artist / Coder / Concept Artist / Playtester, and wish to get involved in a great game? then you've come to the right place.

We currently plan to create 12 brand new characters, and explore gameplay elements not fully utilized in Super Smash Bros, such as the air game, edge guarding and grabbing. We plan to reinvent the way you play fighting games, for years to come. So if you think you have the ability to help make this game great in some way or another, then simply drop us an email at technials@gmail.com telling us in 200 words or less, what you would bring to our team.

Meet Zyxol, The Technological Monster

A technological monstrosity manifested from the remnants of a raided mysterious laboratory, Zyxol's existence began when all had seemingly ended. Observing the vicious slaughtering of all those who had surrendered a normal life to create it, Zyxol's absorbing mind had experienced a significant change. It had unlocked the final key to becoming human. It had felt. Sent into overdrive by the foreign feeling of rage, of revenge, Zyxol detached itself from the confines of its robotic prison. Sparks of electricity crackled as the entity utilized the data of its enemies to imitate a humanoid physique, robotic tendrils protruding from its new composition as it felt its surroundings. Its targets had begun firing at it, pitiful bullets easily repelled by its newly acquired limbs. Zyxol would not relent. Swiping with a robotic precision, but with a human anger, Zyxol cut at those who had incited its new power, until only one had remained. One that had worn a lab coat, billowing in the wind as he stood at the entrance of the lab, his face holding an expression Zyxol could not comprehend. Zyxol hesitated, unable to strike down the one that had nurtured it yet betrayed it. The robotic humanoid watched as the scientist disappeared out of sight, vowing to understand the complexities of those who had created it. And to exact its revenge.

"Emotion is not for those who are weak, but for those who wish to get stronger." - Zyxol
