How do you guys practice tech skill? I recently began trying to learn how to play this game well, I'm decent at wavedashing consistently, although I'm bad at integrating it into my play at the moment. What do (or did) you guys do to learn how to play so damn fast.

solo training can be really useful to learn timings and get techniques to "click" in your head and in your hands. but it's super super important imo to practice tech stuff in actual matches also. even if you're not consistent or comfortable enough in your tech to incorporate whatever you're currently working on into your gameplay, take your opportunities between stocks or while waiting on really slow recoveries or whatever to get a few seconds of tech practice in, while you're in more of a "competing" environment, mindset and stress level than you would be while training solo.

1. practice doing something alone until you can do it on command
2. force integrate it into your game until you can do it on command in a real game when pressured to think and act faster
3. use new techniques when they're needed and play normally

Do you guys have any ways to practice DI without other players? I can't get a grip on DI and it would be helpful to just practice the basics.

Experience only. But know a few things about it; You have to predict getting hit, always be conscious of DIing (don't ever go autopilot), try to always Smash DI (unless it's from a throw that isn't Jigglypuff's fthrow) when you want to DI if there's reliable prediction that you'll get hit, Learn how to wall tech while getting edge guarded (quarter circle DI to the stage then upward), know how to escape Fox's uthrow > uair (hold left/right, then when you get hit, hit both sticks in the opposite direction). Maybe a few other stuff I'm forgetting. There's not really a way to practice it alone

Oh well, thanks for the tips though. I'll try to keep that stuff in mind. I just need more experience in general I guess.

Go into a 99 stock match w/a level 1 CPU so you have a moving target, it's a good way to practice.
