I pretty much can't attend unless I have a top partner.
I'm not part of the cool kids pro m2k in-crowd, so I don't get special treatment/plane tickets from M2K like a lot of the top players do.
I'm not even a pro but, in doubles I am very good. I got 5th at MLG Columbus with Rich Brown in doubles (we were mk/oli team) we took tyrant and larry to game 3 last stocks, eliminated sky and tearbear, eliminated fatal and seibrik, eliminated co18 and hunger, and took mikehaze and havok to last game last hit.
ive been a top doubles player in my region since 2008.
i have doubles wins over pretty much everyone on the west coast minus a few pros (only people i can think of at 3 AM that I have no doubles wins against is mikehaze/havok/tyrant/fiction) ive never gotten to play fiction in teams though. boa and leepuff are very inactive so ive never gotten to play them too. sean and i took m2k and dehf to game 5 at TP4 and we placed 2nd.
ive won doubles tournaments with brdy, thinkgood1, eggz, sagemoon, valdens, t0mmy, bladewise, felix. i have a 2nd place regional with weruop (losing to m2k + havok), 2nd place regional with sean (losing to m2k + dehf) 5th place regional with sean (losing to tyrant and dsf + mikehaze and havok) and a 5th place national with rich brown (losing to tyrant + dehf and mikehaze + havok) all in person obviously. i elevate my teammates and consider myself a leader. i try to put all the pressure on myself so my teammate can just go out and play their game. having fun is needed too
not tooting my own horn, just posting my own little doubles 'resume' since a lot of people don't know me since im from the northwest. im not fortunate enough to have a sponsor or live in a region that runs a lot of tournaments, on top of our payouts/turnouts are considered pathetic by most other regions.
so if youre interested, let me know. m2k owes me teaming but i already know he never will because he doesn't trust me and im not in the pro crowd. i put everything i have every game into doubles, and i never give up and only want to win..
