In teams, my friend plays Marth and I play Falco. We always seem to get in each other's way when playing. I laser him by accident and he fsmashes me.

Any Falco-Marth teams with any advice?

I believe that he already posted a thread in the marth section but I'll tell you the same thing.

He should try to position himself with his opponent in your direction. You should try and hit his opponents when he is gettying comboed.

You could always try standing back to back. Stop SHLing when you face your team mate,. Also, when your team mates opponent get close dont be within f-smash range. I only do Fox/Falco teaming with my friend.

Personally, I think Marth sucks butt in teams. Or at least there are a bunch of other team worthy characters such as Peach, Fox, Ganon, Falco, Zelda, Falcon, Samus, etc. Power hitters, long lives, Cheap KOs...Those are the good stuff in teams.

If a Marth camps properly and edgeguards well they can be very good in teams. Marth's for the most part should camp in smaller stages and look for grabs. On bigger stages he can move a little bit more but he should still focus on camping and grabbing. He is a very good stock holder that way. So as long as your good at comboing with falco and being fast, he should be able to camp and keep one of them at bay while you ****. Then he can just run in and grab to a smash or edgegaurd while you proceed to combo **** the other guy. the point is your don't want Marth to accidentally gimp you out, so his only smashes should be from grabs (since you should be smart enough to get out of the way when he grabs) or in isolated situations.

Haha bomb, no keep the friendly fire on.

I was trying to explain that one to my scrubby friends, I was like, "okay, now imagine two Falcos with friendly fire off..." and he still didn't get it.

Anyway the short answer is get better at teams, lol. Alot of times I'll have my partner Fsmash through my shield, it's **** effective. You basically just have to pay attention alot more in teams, and stay away from the rapesauce like that. Lasering your partner is no biggy, but getting fsmashed off is a huge deal because it leaves you both way open. Spotdodge, shield, whatever, just stay out of his way.
