Funky name huh?

Anyways, this is a team I concocted...ignore the Weavile weakness and look @ the Sideliners afterward...

Weavile *Shadow Claw* @ Leftovers
Jolly/Pressure
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Aerial Ace
~Ice Punch
~Brick Break
~Ice Shard/Pursuit
- Standard Weavile lead. I'm deciding on either Ice Shard or Pursuit...

Electivire *Outlet* @ Expert Belt
Jolly/Motor Drive
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Thunderbolt
~Ice Punch
~Earthquake
~Cross Chop
- Takes the T-Bolts from Mantine and sweeps.

Flygon *SpecsGon* @ Leftovers
Jolly/Levitate
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Dragon Claw
~Fire Punch
~Earthquake
~Roost
- 1337gon is back...oh wait...make that SpecsGon. Let's see how well Kenji's
"Mindgame Nickname" idea works.

Dusknoir *Gripper* @ Leftovers
Bold/Pressure
252 HP/252 Def/6 Sp Def
~Pain Split
~Will-o-wisp
~Seismic Toss
~Confuse Ray
- Dusknoir has returned...to help with the poke that follows.

Porygon Z *Piledriver* @ Silk Scarf
Modest/Adaptability
252 Sp Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Tri Attack
~Dark Pulse
~Ice Beam
~Nasty Plot
- I needed a special sweeper...

Cresselia *Psi-Duck* @ Leftovers
Calm/Levitate
252 HP/252 Sp Def/6 Sp Atk
~Calm Mind
~Charge Beam
~Moonlight
~Ice Beam/Psychic
- CM Cressy. 'Nuff said.

Sideliners:
--------------------

Gyarados *Gyara* @ Leftovers
Adamant/Intimidate
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Waterfall
~Earthquake
~Dragon Dance
~Ice Fang/Taunt
- Backup lead. DDGyara.

Metagross *X-Gross* @ Life Orb/Leftovers
Adamant/Clear Body
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Zen Headbutt
~Meteor Mash
~Thunderpunch
~Agility/Explosion
- Hmn...should I put Earthquake somewhere in there??

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Adamant/Technician
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Mach Punch
~Stone Edge
~Aerial Ace
~Rapid Spin
- Switched Quick Attack for Rapid Spin.

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Adamant/Guts
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Megahorn
~Close Combat
~Pursuit
~Stone Edge
- ScarfCross. May replace ScarfChomp.

Charizard @ Leftovers
Modest/Blaze
252 Sp Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Air Slash
~Dragon Pulse
~Roost
~Flamethrower
- More special sweepers are needed.

Togekiss *Necklace* @ Leftovers
Modest/Serene Grace
252 HP/139 Def/119 Def
~Air Slash
~Aura Sphere
~Roost
~Thunder Wave
- FlinchHax Kiss.

Gardevoir @ Leftovers/Expert Belt
Timid/Trace
252 Sp Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Psychic
~hP {Fighting}
~Charge Beam/Energy Ball/Calm Mind
~Charge Beam/Energy Ball/Calm Mind
- Gardevoir=1337 special sweeper. Any advice on the last two moves??

--------------------

Enjoy!

Funky name huh?

Anyways, this is a team I concocted...ignore the Weavile weakness and look @ the Sideliners afterward...

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Impish/Keen Eye
252 HP/192 Def/33 Atk/33 Spd
~Drill Peck
~Spikes
~Roar
~Roost
-Tell me, why is Roar preferred over Whirlwind??

-Um, as far as I know whirlwind is preferred over roar. I don't like skarmory at all, however. To me Skarmory screams "Come taunt me and set up" because it is so predictable. I really don't see it being that useful so I'd consider replacing it with something else... not sure what though off the top of my head :\

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Jolly/Expert Belt
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Thunderbolt
~Ice Punch
~Earthquake
~Cross Chop
- Takes the T-Bolts from Skarm and sweeps.

-Looks pretty good.

Houndoom @ Leftovers
Timid/Flash Fire
252 Sp Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Sleep Talk
~Flamethrower
~Dark Pulse
~HP {Grass}
- Fire absorber and sleep absorber. Does his job pretty well.

-Looks good as well. Maybe consider nasty plot over sleep talk.

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Calm/Pressure
252 HP/252 Sp Def/6 Def
~Pain Split
~Will-o-wisp
~Shadow Sneak/Fire Punch/Confuse Ray
~Shadow Sneak/Fire Punch/Confuse Ray
- Special wall Knoir. What should his last 2 moves be??

-Shadow Sneak I think would be nice since it goes first. Then consider taunt since you don't have anyone else using taunt or rapid spin on your team. Or if you take my advice and replace skarmory, consider taunt for the poke that replaces skarm and fire punch for dusknoir.

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Modest/Serene Grace
252 HP/200 Spd/58 Sp Atk
~Aura Sphere
~Thunder Wave
~Air Slash
~Roost
- FlinchHax FTW.

-Looks good/standard.

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Adamant/Sand Veil
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Outrage
~Fire Fang
~Earthquake
~Stone Edge
- ScarfChomp. I'm thinking of switching the EV's to: 252 Atk/192 Spd/66 HP

-I believe scarfchomp needs 96 speed ev's to beat the base 130's. So I'd say 252 atk/96 speed/162 hp. Or possibly switch fire fang with fire blast and put some of the hp ev's into sp.atk.

Sideliners:
--------------------

Kingdra @ Leftovers
Timid/Sniper
252 Sp Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Dragon Pulse/HP {Electric}
~Agility/Yawn
- This isn't a Rain-based team, so I'll probably run Agility on Kingdra. I'll use Dragon Pulse/HP Electric to hit anything that doesn't wall me...

-I'm not good with Kingdra but yeah agility since you don't have swift swim and maybe dragon pulse for the stab bonus.

Metagross @ Life Orb/Leftovers
Adamant/Clear Body
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Zen Headbutt
~Meteor Mash
~Thunderpunch
~Agility/Explosion
- Hmn...should I put Earthquake somewhere in there??

-I'd go earthquake over zen headbutt if you go with agility. Also, if you go with agility then maybe less speed ev's? Or you could try choice band and put earthquake in the last spot.

Feraligatr @ Leftovers
Jolly/Torrent
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Earthquake
~Ice Punch
~Dragon Dance
~Waterfall
- DDGatr can replace Houndoom.

-Looks good.

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Adamant/Technician
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Quick Attack
~Mach Punch
~Aerial Ace
~Stone Edge
- I like Technician pokes...

-Close combat and/or rapid spin in there somewhere maybe? I don't know, I'm not too good with hitmontop.

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Calm/Levitate
252 HP/252 Sp Def/6 Sp Atk
~Charge Beam
~Moonlight
~Psychic
~Grass Knot/Calm Mind
- Other special wall.

-I'd say calm mind for the last spot and maybe ice beam over psychic.

Weezing @ Leftovers
Bold/Levitate
252 HP/252 Def/6 Sp Atk
~Shadow Ball
~Toxic
~Pain Split
~Explosion/Destiny Bond
- I forgot how to use Weezing...
--------------------

-I forgot how to use him too.. looks okay though. Maybe consider sludge bomb since it gets stab and a chance to poison.

Alright, please leave comments & suggestions. Thanks, and happy holidays.

Whirlwind > Roar because it hits ghosts... =_= No wonder your shoddy rank is 1200+...

@TSK- Skarmory is a WALL Taunters are predictable, but, I can say this- Me and you think exactly alike :D.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Impish/Keen Eye
252 HP/192 Def/33 Atk/33 Spd
~Drill Peck
~Spikes
~Roar
~Roost
-Tell me, why is Roar preferred over Whirlwind??

Actually, i think that whirlwind is preferred over roar, because it affects soundproof pokemon. Not that you'll see too many of them.

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Jolly/Expert Belt
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Thunderbolt
~Ice Punch
~Earthquake
~Cross Chop
- Takes the T-Bolts from Skarm and sweeps.

If you're going mixed, try running a naive or hasty nature so you don't decrease the power of your only stab attack.

Houndoom @ Leftovers
Timid/Flash Fire
252 Sp Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Sleep Talk
~Flamethrower
~Dark Pulse
~HP {Grass}
- Fire absorber and sleep absorber. Does his job pretty well.

Between the two of these, they cover skarm's weakness well. Houdoom doesn't make a great sleep talker, however, because he can't really take a hit. Not much to criticize, though, because houndooms movepool is so bad, so I can't think better alternatives.

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Calm/Pressure
252 HP/252 Sp Def/6 Def
~Pain Split
~Will-o-wisp
~Shadow Sneak/Fire Punch/Confuse Ray
~Shadow Sneak/Fire Punch/Confuse Ray
- Special wall Knoir. What should his last 2 moves be??

Whenever I see dusknoir, I like switching in fire pokemon to take the will-o-wisp. An earthquake to the face would be a nice surprise. Shadow sneak doesn't do too much, its only really useful for killing flail/reversalers and severely weakened psychic types.

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Modest/Serene Grace
252 HP/200 Spd/58 Sp Atk
~Aura Sphere
~Thunder Wave
~Air Slash
~Roost
- FlinchHax FTW.

Looks fine.

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Adamant/Sand Veil
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Outrage
~Fire Fang
~Earthquake
~Stone Edge
- ScarfChomp. I'm thinking of switching the EV's to: 252 Atk/192 Spd/66 HP

Fire blast over fire fang. Even with adamant, it does more to skarmory. Also, you could get those extra hp evs, but I figure you might as well max speed to outspeed other garchomps.

Sideliners:
--------------------

Kingdra @ Leftovers
Timid/Sniper
252 Sp Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Dragon Pulse/HP {Electric}
~Agility/Yawn
- This isn't a Rain-based team, so I'll probably run Agility on Kingdra. I'll use Dragon Pulse/HP Electric to hit anything that doesn't wall me...

Eh, not a fan.

Metagross @ Life Orb/Leftovers
Adamant/Clear Body
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Zen Headbutt
~Meteor Mash
~Thunderpunch
~Agility/Explosion
- Hmn...should I put Earthquake somewhere in there??

If you do use him, put earthquake in over zen headbutt.

Feraligatr @ Leftovers
Jolly/Torrent
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Earthquake
~Ice Punch
~Dragon Dance
~Waterfall
- DDGatr can replace Houndoom.

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Adamant/Technician
252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
~Quick Attack
~Mach Punch
~Aerial Ace
~Stone Edge
- I like Technician pokes...

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Calm/Levitate
252 HP/252 Sp Def/6 Sp Atk
~Charge Beam
~Moonlight
~Psychic
~Grass Knot/Calm Mind
- Other special wall.

Weezing @ Leftovers
Bold/Levitate
252 HP/252 Def/6 Sp Atk
~Shadow Ball
~Toxic
~Pain Split
~Explosion/Destiny Bond
- I forgot how to use Weezing...

Yes, you did. Weezing makes a fantastic gyarados counter with thunderbolt, and a fantastic counter to skarm/scizor/forretress/heracross with fire blast. Its too slow to use destiny bond, and definitely would prefer will o wisp over toxic.

Didn't comment on all the alternates. I agree with the above posters, skarmory is setup bait. Worse than your weavile weakness, though, is your dd/taunt gyarados weakness. Since gyarados is the most common lead, you are going to need something to stop it.

People, use Whirlwind on Skarmory. It doesn't matter if Roar is a TM but Whirlwind is an egg move. It'll help in the long run. Drill Peck is an egg move, too, so why not get Whirlwind as well?

Yes, Whirlwind hits Soundproof Pokemon. You never know, there may be some BP teams with Mr. Mime out there.

Until wii meet again,

on cressy

run HP fight and shadowball, full type coverage

no need for charge beam if running CM set

if running a CM set on voir, run CM, shadow ball, HP fight, and psychic

you get full type coverage and a very good stab attack (only resisted by 2 types, and immune by 1)
