It errors when I tried to go to q and a,
So I ask here, what are the pros and cons of team attack on or off? What would you prefer and why?

I prefer on, because of the pros I stated lol.

Pros:
Can save each other
Can get each other out of comboes
Can help each other recover
Cons:
Can hurt and kill each other

Noted. the reason Is a Friend's tourney is doing doubles this time, and I wanted to convince him to turn on team attack. he said he'll debate it next time around.
also, Is G&W that crazy with #TeamBucket?

Pros:

* It promotes more tactical thinking
* Teammates can save each other
* Characters with multihits aren't OP(in team attack off, chars with multihits can "hold" others while their teammate attacks freely through them, like MK's tornado).
* It makes 1v2 possible, otherwise the 2 remaining players would sandwich their opponen without putting much thought into it.

Cons:

*can damage and kill each other.

Really it just makes the game overall more strategic and imo exciting to watch, understand and to play.

Well, when I play for fun, I usually turn it off. Competitively it's good as you can use it to save each other. I'm still a noob with doubles matches though; as I prefer 1v1. I need to dip into it more though.
