Teach me how to taunt cancel!

The tech guide is ambiguous

What I have tried successfully so far: On Dreamland, When the wind is blowing, I jump on a platform and hold my up arrow key. Then, I press the left arrow key till I reach the ledge of the side the wind is blowing. Doing Up and Left at the same time enables me to slowly walk. When I reach the ledge, I spam the L button... How do you do this on other stages? Thanks.

You're not doing it right if you're relying on the wind, what you're doing is the infinite cancel. For proper taunt canceling you need to dash or initial dash (not walk) and stop and L just as you reach the teetering animation, you won't actually see the teeter until you've done the cancel. It's all intuitive. It just takes timing and practice.

the dream land platforms are a little too long. try it either in hyrule castle, either on those three platforms in the center, or on top of the small building on the right side.
