Ok, I figured i'd make this thread about Taunt Parties (a wildy popular unofficial type of game where people use silly taunts, show off advanced techniques, and play around with items.) becuase I like TPs and im bored.

Taunt Party basics and rules

Ok, Taunt Parties (called TPs for the rest of this guide), are games where the fighters intentionaly do not fight and fool around in various ways.

Examples:

Setting fun items on high. (Ex. Rolling Crates on Green Hill Zone.).
Showing off Adcanced Techniques.
Spamming funny or annoying taunts/moves. (Ex. Captain Falcon: Show me ya moves! Show me ya moves! Show me ya moves!).

These are just a few examples of the many things that can be done at TPs.

Why Taunt Party?

There are several reasons to TP. It can be a way to relax, take a break from Brawling, screwing around, having fun, you name it. Most people ask "What is so relaxing/screwy/fun about standing in one place and taunting? Obviously, they have never been to a Taunt Party. Its much more then that.

Taunt Parties Rules

Taunt Parties usually have rules that a TPer can follow to make the game more entertaining. For example, if, say, Player 1 KOed Player 2, Player 2 has the right to jab/hurt Player 1. Player 1 is to then suicide to even out the score so a *Anouncer Voice* SUDDEN DEATH!!111!11!11 will happen. Obviously, killing non-crashers defeats the point of the party, since your allies. I've seen many a TPer attack players when they didn't get a Smash Ball. Don't do this, or the Smash Ball player can use that Smash on you, and he has 2 allies to back him up. Thats about it.

Taunt Party Crashers

Taunt Party Crashers are the bane of Taunt Parties, obviously. These players can fall into 2 subcatigories. Some crashers don't know about Taunt Parties or any of this stuff, so he attacks you. These players generally arn't that good. They are usually spammers. The other group knows what a TP is and is crashing it knowingly. These players are experts mostly and it can take the entire TP team to take him down. I never really got Crashers motives to crash these fun events. Were not doing anything to you. I guess that is just how the world is these days, filled with jerks. If a crashers is epicly owning your, don't leave. Take all the fun out by just sitting there. Not really that fun trying to crash a party that isn't partying!

Taunt Parties can be very funny and relaxing. However. crashers can ruin awesome parties. Look out from them. Otherwise. have fun TPing!

Note: Go ahead and flame me, crashers. Taunt Parties will win in teh end!!!! :chuckle:

You guys aren't crashing right if you aren't winning. You just have to play really really gay. :)

Attack, move, attack, move. Make them hit each other accidentally to help you out. Get a KO(cheap ones are always the best), then run like hell while you have a +1 score advantage. Make sure to throw in plenty of taunts while on the run. It just riles them up even more. Taunt parties like to spam Temple most of the time. This strategy is ideal for this stage.

On the rare occasion you come across a taunt group that's made up of very decent players it'll be much harder to win though. Usually they know how to coordinate a lot better and don't stumble all over each other. They are also able to string annoying combos that'll have you raging in no time. When coming across these groups, amp up the gayness level accordingly. We're talking Brokeback Mountain here. Abuse anything and everything. And spam is your new favorite food.

Oh and I think it's just standard policy that you leave right after a win. Preferably an annoying win.

No need for a duplicate thread, as the commenters have pointed out.
