People taunt party because its fun. Unfortunatly. people think were not using the game like we should, and try to crash you parties. Truth is, were not.

HOWEVER. Was Brawl meant for Tournaments? No. Was Brawl meant to be hacked? No. But is Brawl used for Tournements? Yeah. Is Brawl hacked? Yeah. If you hate us so much and try to stop us, why don't you try to stop tournaments and hacking?

Now, some of you people crash for fun. Yeah, I can understand that, what with the online being so boring. Thats our reason to; the online sucks.

Was Brawl meant to be a fighting game? Yes. Do tournaments or hacking change that fact? No. Do taunt parties? Yes.

This should have been posted in DE's thread.

I don't think this deserves it's own thread, even if it IS pro-taunt party :]

you should not play basic brawl for serious matches. its time, items, and a free4all and laggy.
taunt partying is a good way to teach noobs a lesson and its fun.

Lol WHAT?
Yes, Brawl is a fighting game, but because it's from Nintendo, it's also more like a PARTY game to play with friends.

I don't see why competitional players get to change so many rules from the natural way of playing the game such as banning items and such and people start complaining about Taunt Partyists who are playing a game as a game to be enjoyed.

Besides, it's Basic Brawl. It's not like everyone is going to follow the exact same example as everyone else, and that's why there's Party Crashers to deny the rules of Taunt Partying in the first place. No one will get EXACTLY what they want.

If the game is meant to be enjoyed, then what's wrong with turning off items if some people enjoy the game without them? Playing competitively can be fun, and it's no fun to die just because someone beat you to the super-biased smash ball, or got a 1 hit KO Pokemon.

Besides, it's Basic Brawl. It's not like everyone is going to follow the exact same example as everyone else, and that's why there's Party Crashers to deny the rules of Taunt Partying in the first place. No one will get EXACTLY what they want.
I suppose. But it's sad to see casual or new players hop on BB just to get ganged up on, then they just think the community is full of ***** who pick on the new guy just because they were looking to fight, and didn't understand the intention of taunt parties.

Do tournaments annoy anyone? No they don't. Do taunt parties annoy some people? Yes, they do. But hacks annoy people, and I do not condone it online for fighting purposes. And now hackers can't hack online.

Tournaments was a very bad example. If you 3 vs. 1 someone or your taunt party friends 3 vs. 1 someone, you are likely having fun at someone's expense. Are tournaments having fun at other people's expense? No.

And well EXCUSE us for wanting to FIGHT people in a FIGHTING game. Excuse some of us for wanting to find a serious match. Excuse us for not wanting to play team battle because of the risk of getting a bulls*** teamate and having his score drag yours down with him/her Excuse us for not wanting to play team battle because your teamate or opponent goes AFC and the match becomes unfair. Excuse some people for not knowing whats going on when they join a FFA and everyone gangs up on him/her purposely.

Excuse me for being rude but I felt that needed to be said.

When Brawl was new I didn't see many taunt parties but I gave them some rope. I even joined in sometimes. But the time came when a fourth person joined and the two people I thought were cool decide to gang bang him. That's what's ****ty. Out of twenty taunt parties I'll see one Jigglypuff float away and avoid all confrontation. The rest of you guys are just teamers, just the same as griefers in MMOs and backstabbers in RTS's.

In conclusion, this thread is redundant.

Oh, I see what you mean. Well, it's not like we can tell if the person is really new to the game or not used to the lag or whatever, so it's not like Taunt Parties are going to stop. Gee, I feel kinda awful now though from reading that.

Maybe Taunt Partyists should be encouraged to just lay back and let one person fight the Crasher at a time or something. Though that can take a while, it's probably the best thing that can be done at the moment since there's no way Taunt Parties are just going to stop.

It's not like everyone is light heated and will play by the rules that one, or even a dozen people set. No one can control everything that happens on online brawling. It might be a shame for that new player, but it's not like the player expects anything. The player doesn't know what will happen, and if he's ganged on, he'll react by either leaving in frustration, or understanding how online works, like we all did at some point. Players online who play casually will eventually understand what is going on and what a "taunt party" is. I remember when I started playing brawl again about a year ago ( I didnt play for a long time before that ) I discovered taunt parties, and I quickly joined in. haha.

My thoughts exactly!

Nd another thing. If someone has issues with taunt parties they always have "Team Brawl."

This man speaks the truth.

Well, this is the third thread about taunt parties...
This is the third thread still standing. Not the third thread about taunt parties.

Like TheZizz pretty much said, not all partyists have the fun loving intent some of you partyists think they have.

That's why I think more taunters should get hacks so they can have more fun in a 4-person taunt party

On topic, TP are bad and 100% on what Dracospawn said in the first page.

I like to crash taunt parties. (: It helps me improve and keeps me alert. I do well crashing them most of the time, but when Temple is added to the cooking, my frustrations grow greatly. Especially when MK and Zelda and Pikachu are ganging up on me. D:

Kind of in the wrong thread to say that but being a fellow crasher you I welcome you here. When someone chooses Hyrule Temple DON'T run after them! That's what they WANT you to do. DON'T give them that satisfaction. Let THEM come to YOU. Don't get to impatient just wait until the 2 minutes are up then you can take them down in the Sudden Death. They have to avoid you AND the bombs. Keep in mind this can obviously backfire. Just know that you are not there to entertain them. Just remember what you can do as the character you are using. If you chase them they will just run in a circle. This is when you can mindgame them since most of them are simple minded. Crashing a TP is a pretty good way to practice baiting and your mindgames,

Edit: Don't argue with the troll ChickenWing just report him. I am still surprised he's not banned yet.

Thank you. (:
Well, I main Sonic. So them running away isn't pretty productive. The reason I hate Temple is because there's chances that they will rebound again and again and they won't die due to the size of the stage. I usually attack the one who attempts to fight back, but they get so lucky with the stage.

*EDIT: He's not directing his nonesense at me, so I wasn't planning to argue or reply. XD
