While i wuz playin Tales of Vesperia for 360 my cuzin decided to come to my house and show me this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5Ke_0cVqtI

Then he started talkin about how it's garbage for 360 and wuz a pointless release:ohwell:

I'm not mad and i don't have anything against PS3. I just think it's unfair to us Vesperia owners with no PS3's .

But i want everyone's opinion on the matter of the release. Is it fair? or is it unfair?

And this looks like a good Wii release hopefully we get it here:p http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWi_flCoLrA

We don't even know if the US will get this, especially when you consider how the Eternal Sonata port sold in the US.

But on topic, I think its fair.
Namdai just wanted more people to play ToV.

Plus, no one in Japan complained about Tales of Symphonia when it got a PS2 port with added features.

If anyone was curious, I own both a 360 and PS3.
And I'll be importing this in the Fall.

Hm...well I don't own a 360 so I missed out on ToV so if it gets put on the PS3 I'll probably do some co-op with my friend who is a fan of the tales series.

I still have to say that putting most JRPG's on the 360 is...odd to say the least. I have a buddy in college who has ToV on the 360...he hasn't played it at all. the 360 target groups never seemed all that fond of rpgs more while playstation owners delivered a very large WTF when a string of RPG were sent only to the 360.

@minato how was the features in ToS? I've only played that and tales of phantasia so I'm curious as to whether the added features were nice.

Tales of Symphonia's PS2 port is Japan only, but here are the differences:

Different intro and logo
More titles (and costumes)
More Mystic Artes (Every character, excluding Sheena, has at least one. Zelos and Presea I think are the only ones to get two)
Abyssion (or whoever the secret boss was) is a lot harder. He actually has mystic artes.
More side quests
More cutscenes
More Unison Attacks
2 more anime cutscenes
And a secret boss fight

The downsides to the port is that the game doesn't run as smoothly (but I'll take that hit) and the tech glitch and Collete's Mystic Arte glitch are removed (which makes me sad).
