Ok, I know Django has a few other threads, so if the mods see fit they can lock this one, I don't mind, just throwing out who I think would be a fun character for Brawl! (none of the other Django ones have a move list as far as I know and most of them are months old so bumping them now seems pointless.)

Possible Move List:

B: Solar Bullet- Django fires a bullet of solar energy at his foe, these act like Fox's lasers and do about 1-2% damage each. There is no knock back or stun on them.

OverB: Smoke Grenade- Django tosses a smoke grenade, this attack does some base damage upon impact. Soon after it bursts and acts as a smoke ball, leaving behind a trail of smoke. If a person touches the center of the grenade when it explodes it does a moderate amount of damage with good knockback.

DownB: Solar Spread- Django spins in a circle, a short, knife-like, beam of solar energy emits from his Gun Del Sol and strikes any foes close enough to him. This attack has a relatively short attack range but does good damage as well as having a little less knockback then a smash attack.

UpB: Otenko Boost- Otenko appears and gives Django a small boost in height, this does a small amount of damage if the opponent comes in contact with Otenko.

Final Smash: Piledrive-With a mighty cry of "TAIYOOOOOOOOH!" Django summons several piledrivers out of the ground. These fire highly concentrated blasts of solar energy, trapping anyone who gets in the way in the center of the blast for a few seconds.

Django wouldn't exactly be a power character but he'd be around (what I'm guess will be) Pit's weight weight/speed His downfalls would be mediocre attack strength, lack of a good way to smash people of the stage and a less then average recovery. Django is also owned by Konami who have Snake in Brawl as well so it might be easier to get characters from the same company but various games. While I know that there are other characters who maybe "deserve" to be in Brawl more, Django just seems like he'd be a fun character to play as! (PS. Sorry for the long post!)

So do I have an idea going here?

You posted this thread KNOWING about others? That's new:rolleyes:
Either way, it doesn't seem like a bad idea...I'm open to anything...just curious, though...what game is he from again?

I figured I'd prolly get yelled at either way, starting a new thread or bumping one that's been non-active for a month or so. Also if the mods want to lock it they can if they wish to but I just wanted to say what I thought was a good character idea. Thank you for telling me your opinion on the character matter however, most people would just flame and leave XD

I remember playing the very first Bokatai(sp) for the GBA. A very unique game; although I didn't enjoy being forced to go outside in sunny weather just to kill some bosses.

He'd be a nice addition; but I doubt he'd get in.

I doubt he'll get in, but I agree that he would be awesome and very unique. the game was awesome too, but the fact that you needed sun to play killed it for me...

I personally wouldn't be that surprised if he got in as an AT. Boktai is made my Hideo Kojima, the same guy who made Metal gear solid; and since he and Sakurai are friends, he might put in another one of his characters as an AT or something. maybe one of Snakes moves will be a tribute to Boktai? Kojima likes to make references to past works, and seeing as he's helping make Snakes move-set, it's not really that much of a stretch... maybe one of his victory poses will be him putting his hand up and yelling "TAIYOOOOOH!"

Well, now that I've seen the picture...I really think you're on to something;)
Is he third party? Idk, if he is, his chances might be hurt by Sonic, Geno, Megaman, etc.

EDIT: The above post answers my question...meh

He's owned by Konami so yeah, third party. Although he has only appeared on the Nintendo console...I think he was in four games (2 for GBA in America, 1 more for GBA in Japan and one for DS in Japan) I can't recall if Sakurai said he was more willing or less willing to put Japan popular characters in Brawl. And while there may be characters who deserve it more, I'm purely going on who I think would be cool, so even though I know his chances are slim to none I still think he'd be a great playable character ^^
