Taiko no Tatsujin

Has anyone ever seen or played any of these games? They're really unique in that they use a taiko drum to hit notes along a scroll-through of notes. It comes with four difficulties and quite a few japanese (and not so japanese) songs that you can play through. I guess you could say it's like Guitar Hero or Rockband within' the fact that you have to hit the notes and they pass along, but they're pretty different. A video example can be found here. This is on the hardest difficulty, no where near one of the hardest songs though. I'm not that good at the game myself, but the game is really fun and it's addicting as well. I guess this thread could be used to discuss the game and share your scores and records? Yeeah... Taiko no Tatusjin!

My best score would probably be on Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS. Full Combo on "Shiny Smile", one of the two idol master songs within' the game. 475 notes total, difficulty was oni, 8/10 stars. Yours?

Yeah, there's one in an Arcade near me. I've tried to play it a few times, have no idea how to hit the blue notes though.

Blue notes are the rims of the taiko drums. I wish an arcade around me had Taiko

I have all 3 games for the DS. They're really fun haha. First one has best songs, 3rd one has an RPG hahaha. :D
