I'm debating on whether or not it would have just been appropriate to create an additional post to the Mario Kart Events thread to put all the videos in, then add it to the first page. I'm not sure if another thread was really needed, don't want the Mario Universe board to get overrun with Mario Kart threads is all I'm worried about.

We should make this a FC swap/racer locator thread for both MKDS and MKWii, too. I haven't added anyone to my MKDS friendlist in ages, and I want to see how I am in that game against some of you guys.

Gatlin, if that were the case, Sariku would need to ALSO run this, not to mention we can spread this thread to cover all the Mario Kart games, not just Mario Kart Wii, while his thread is centered solely on MKW.

Anyway, I think we could split things like Peachy's, Gashi's, and Final's videos. (probably make a playlist, so it links to the playlists for those set of videos) cuz we will be the ones capturing races/battles with SWFers. And then have another section for general things that anyone can post videos in from ANY Mario Kart. I think that's the best case scenario. Yes, no, maybe so?

I agree with this, but I think we should have a separate section for TTs as well. I plan on working on/ uploading my time trials even if Sariku never gets back to the actual tournament...

I need to be a moderator of this board to give my opinion about something? Basically I just don't know how much traffic this thread will receive because the videos people will post can already be found on Youtube; and mostly all of them have already been viewed. Also posting in the regular events thread usually generates responses anyways, why try to generate more for the same videos? Besides, they really only will be viewed by the usual Mario Kart community anyways, Air, Box, Final, Z'z, etc.. Why not just put them in the second post of the MKW Events thread as to have everything in one location. To Z'z's point about possible MKDS videos, does anyone even record those frequently enough to warrant a general Mario Kart video thread?

Yeah I got you. I'm not in the best of moods at the moment, what my original post was saying was more of a suggestion, or an alternative. It wasn't meant to be taken as an official demand. Z'z did have a point with the MK3DS coming out which gives the potential for more videos not suited for the other thread, so I can agree with this thread now. At first glance it looked to be simply a place to store all the videos we already have, or can easily be accessible on Youtube. MK3DS videos, as well as any other Mario Kart series videos would not belong in that thread. I'm not against the idea, I was just making sure it had a legitimate reason to exist. Sorry.

I don't know how much I really like it being divided by cups...

I think the time trials are perfectly fine that way, but I personally would have divided the wifi races by the racer/uploader, then further divided by dates... Just my opinion, though. You've done an amazing job with this!
