Swapping Stage Music

Hello, I'm having an issue with my personal Project M build. I want Onett to have more than two music tracks. I noticed that Fourside has many song options, so I decided I would rather have less songs for Fourside, and more for Onett. I attempted to swap the stage's pac and rel values by renaming them each other's names. This introduced a a few issues; Fourside automatically crashes the game, and Onett does not have stage sound effects. I did some more research and found that the sound effects are tied to the slot.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? All I want to do is have Fourside's My Music tracks play for Onett, and Onett's to play for Fourside. I'm pretty new at modding Brawl. I know some of the basics, but I know that there's plenty that of things that I have yet to learn.

So if I'm making some pretty dumb mistakes, please excuse my n00bness!

You're on the right track. The only thing is that simply swapping RELs won't work. You need to go here, to get RELs that will work.
1. Base REL: New Pork City, To Replace: Onett
2. Base REL: Onett, To Replace: New Pork City

Put the two files you get in the /module/ folder, and swap the stage files in the /stage/melee/ folder. And that should do it.

Thank you! The stages seem to work fine. The only issue I have left is the sound effects. Is there a way to have the stages play their sounds?
