Show your mother a picture of each fighter, and ask her what its name is and what it's from.
If she doesn't know, ask her to guess.

I haven't quizzed my mother yet, but I'm looking forward to what she says.

I found one on EBay for $60. It nor,ally is around $100 to $130 bucks from what I've seen. I guess I got lucky.

I hear some prices got dropped ever since there was Virtual Console. Take Super Mario Bros. 3 for example

True. Back then, Earthbound was basically the biggest undertaking ever. The cartridge had more data stored on it than pretty much any other SNES game to that point, and it came packaged with all sorts of merchandise. Certainly worth more than just a ROM of the cartridge, especially a couple decades later.

Tried this with my own mother. She got an impressive 35.

Then again, when you've lived all your life with two vidya enthusiasts that chatter endlessly about Smash, you're gonna pick up on a few things.
