Super Smash Brothers 4: Player Tracking/Nicknaming?

Should players be able to give titles such as "rival" to people whom they have fought? I think this would make the game a little more interesting, especially if we can prioritize the messages telling us who is online.

What I mean is: If I named someone my rival, and then prioritized them at the top of the list, a notification would be sent to me showing their online status.

Yes. In the game you can nominate one person in your friends list as a personal rival. Having a personal rival will mean that you are told whenever they get online.

Don't worry you might find somebody soon enough. I have found two people already; although, I tend to only register real life friends to my friend list.

You would be able to track their Match Status and such: Wins, Losses, etc.

I like it, I just hope I can be told if someone calls me their rival, like "Oracle S made you his rival" as a notification.
