Smash Master
I know this probably shouldn't warrant its own thread and with all the DLC threads around here, I could have posted this in the proper thread. The only reason I'm posting this in its own thread is maybe we can come up with a better theory than what I have. So as we all know, Smash 3DS and Wii U have been data mined (mostly 3DS version) to the point where we might know what's coming up in future patches. We have no idea when it is coming, but Nintendo did state that an update will bring Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS amiibo functionality in Febuary (precisely near the New Nintendo 3DS launch). So, what if Nintendo pulls a Mario Kart 8 and doesn't tell all the features in the updates coming for each game. In which if they follow that motto, I expect the Wii U update to come out at the end of Febuary probably the same day as its 3DS counterpart. This means that all those features hidden in the games code could probably be enabled in the next upcoming patches. This means that the Sharing features and DLC Shop will be enabled which means potentially NEW characters are coming. So, where do I think they might reveal all this at. APEX 2015. It seems odd that there is an announcement just before Melee singles and since this is a mainly Smash focused tournament, it seems to obvious that this announcement may truely bring something truely big. What do you guys think of my theory? I would love to hear your guy's response to this and maybe come up with even better theories! ALL ABORD THE HYPE TRAIN!
