Every other stage is banned
Knock-Out: After characters are picked only before the first match of the set is played. Each player or team may knock off one stage from either Random or counter pick stages. That stage will be turned off the entire set.
Slob Picks: Loser of a match gets to change his/her character -OR- Pick a stage form the Counter pick list.
Controllers
BYOC: Bring Your Own Controller
Controller Mods of any kind, Except cosmetic changes, are banned
Turbo or programmed buttons of any kind are banned
Other Rules:
1. Any unnecessary pausing of the game will result in a forfeit of that single game.
2. Glitches used to stop your opponent from controlling their character or indefinitely freezing them or any glitch or trick that freezes the game or makes it in any way unfinishable are banned and will result in the immediate forfeit of the entire set.
3.Tactics used to intentionally stall a match will result in a 1 stock penalty. If used again, the player will have to forfeit the match.
4. If a player or team doesn't show up on time for their match, they will be given a 5 minute grace period before it will go down as a forfeit.
5. In the case of a GameCube/TV malfunction, the game will be restarted from the beginning, no matter what time it crashed.
6. All decisions made by tournament officials are final.
7. Players must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner. Permanent ejection of a player from the tournament is at the staff's discretion.
8. Spectators may not communicate with a player while he or she is competing. Breaking this rule will result in a warning. A second violation will result in ejection of the spectator and forfeit of the game.
9. Any other sign of cheating will also result in forfeit of the game.
