Smash 3DS Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS new trailer from the World Hobby Fair 2014

Hey guys, so I think I just came across a new trailer (which I think might also be the first commercial) for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. It looks like the trailer reuses a lot (and I mean a LOT) of footage from the E3 2013 trailer and Smash Direct from April and a bit footage from E3 2014 and even a small amount of new footage can be seen as well. Overall, it looks pretty solid! (IMHO, I could swear I think there's even footage of what looks like a new Steel Diver stage!)

Definitely a lot of reused footage, but some new footage. I'm still happy to see the little new footage there was. The poll options are kind of strange, but I guess my vote is "Is it good?"

We've known about them for a while, so no. But they were additions to the debut trailer which this is clearly heavily based on, so technically they are new in this.

Just to make sure you aren't getting your hopes up for nothing, that is the Japanese release date that has been the same since E3. Nothing has changed for us.

By the way, both the post and the vote are heavily cynical.
For those who don't understand sarcasm either, I did NOT like the video. Nothing new, and for the Japanese only, meaning THEIR territory (not the same trophies) , language (duh), and the release date localized for Japan ONLY.

Well, I mean it IS being made in Japan, so yeah it would come out in Japan first, in Japanese. Besides, there hasn't been any region-specific trophies since Melee, and the only difference in Brawl besides that were some different games listed in the Chronicle and the Masterpieces had the original Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and Mother 2.

I made the same mistake, I thought it was a stage too. But if you look closely, you can see it being rotated as a trophy.

Yeah, it looks like the classic mode they've shown briefly before where there are branching overworld paths that lead to different types of matches.

Seems fun.

It could be anything really, but since G&W appeared with Pac-Man in his video...Japan probably gets more exclusive things than we know.

I think it's a coincidence, considering that during that time, you see Link up airing some enemies. Maybe it's a beep from the place where the thing is being recorded? The beeping sound is not in the other recording of the video.

Too bad most of it isn't new footage. Then again, it probably isn't a good idea to reveal information through a commercial video that plays in stores with an infinite loop.

Yeah, the Steel Diver thing is a trophy. The new Classic Mode for the 3DS looks cool. I don't know if that Classic Mode style is coming to Wii U. Well, we've seen most of the stuff in here. I think it's a short trailer or advertisement just for the World Hobby Fair. Maybe?
