Super Smash Bros Brawl - The game to end all Smash games?

I have a feeling that Brawl *COULD* be the final game. It seems to me like Sakurai's going all out and putting the best characters in. This worries me, even if there is another Smash Bros, how is Sakurai going to beat Sonic?

Does anyone else feel like this?

Yeah but Nintendo itself can make the next Smash or something. They could probably bug Sakurai enough for a new one too.

I imagine the next smash will just have more 3rd party characters judging from how it all works out on brawl with 3rd party characters, and of course some other new ones from nintendo, yeahi think there might be more smash bros after brawl, its possible, but yes sakurai said he won't be the one doing it

I feel the same way too. I don't think we'd ever see Snake and Sonic in the same game as Mario ever again. Let's enjoy this game to the max (when it comes out).

I got a great feeling that it will be remembered as a classic just like Super Mario Bros., LoZ: Link to the PAst, Chrono Trigger, etc.

I pray that there will be more Smash games I mean life without Smash, plus Nintendo makes a lot from it so I'm sure they will persuade the relevant people into making another one even if it is in the far future

Of course there will be other Smashes on next consoles, Nintendo would be d*mn stupid if they didn't, it's one of the best selling games franchises, if not THE best (?)...
Anyway, a next console from Nintendo is faaaaaaaar out of sight, since the Wii has yet to show it's true potential, and there are so much possibilities for the Wii, it's not like a PS3 or 360, those are only the same as their predecessors, only better graphics and online play, the Wii has 10 times more possibilities than those 2...
Sorry got carried away don't worry, and enjoy the moments you're gonna have with Brawl, and those are many, MANY moments...

Who knows though Smash may end up becoming a multi-platformer if thing go that way and if sakurai does not obligue. What I am amazed at it the fact that none of the "competitors" for smash (Sony, Microsoft) have tried for the programming at all to make an immitation. Like the Cola Wars...

I'd like to think there would be more SSBs but if Sakurai isn't involved with SSB4 and it bombs then I don't know.
