So, as most of you know, the 3DS isn't exactly fit to be the competitor's weapon of choice when it comes to Super Smash Bros. I mean, I've heard of people breaking controllers through competitive play, and breaking a 3DS sounds pretty bad. So, I thought I'd list what can make the 3DS version unique and fun for solo/casual players.

#1: ADVENTURE!
We all love a good adventure, even if its played like a bunch of multiplayer matches in a row. Let's take Melee's not so fly Adventure mode and mix it with a character, and create a Character Adventure Mode, where each character has their own story! That's, like, 30+ Story Modes! And multiplayer Adventure Mode was fun in Brawl. Let's bring that into the equation to make Dual Adventures! Each character has a different ending!

#2: Minigame Plaooza!
You've seen them, you played them, you love them! Minigames like Target Test and Race To The Finish are fun, but what if we made a few more, like a game where you must run from a giant lobster or a game that makes you have to get to the top of the stage before the time runs out? So many possibilities...

#3: Challenge System!
Personally my most favorite addition to Brawl, A Challenge System that gives you certain things to do. Once you beat a challenge, you earn a medal of some sort, and maybe even unlocking something extra along the way!

#4: Smash Shots? YES.
Ever tinkered with Pokedex 3D Pro's Camera feature? Think that, but with ALL TROPHIES! With the help of Analog Placement, drag the trophy across the bottom screen while the camera awaits you to take a picture. Make a memorable photo of Ridley riding a Dog, or something just as zany!

#5: Your Turn!
Type up something that you think would make SSB4-3DS fun for casual play! Don't stress yourself with what's likely- just think, "Fun"!

Well just starting to play Competititevly in Brawl ande honestly I'm only good at Link and Pikachu idk what's up with the others that makes me fail but I will also play competitively in this game also but not all the time I at least need some fun in Smash especially since me and my friends are getting the 3ds version so I don't want to kick his butt to badly (but when I Link and we play together trust me you do not wanna piss me off when I'm Link my brother had to experience that the hard way in Brawl and Melee :p) but all the stuff you said I approve! But I do hope Nintendo is able to fix my 3ds xl (it has a crack on the screen don't ask how it got there I don't even know myself really) before Pokemon Y comes out cause I wanna play that the day it releases and I'll tell my Mom if she can send it to Nintendo tomorrow after Band Day (I'll be in a high school for til 3:00 to 9:00 tomorrow so yea) and I just told my Mom about the crack so she said she'll sign in put my cerial number in and I forgot what she said after that but anyways good idea :)

1. When you change the rules to Versus Mode, the game remembers what it was set to last even after turning off the console. This has been long overdue.

2. For Events, combine Melee variety with Brawl difficulty options.

3. Right when you unlock a character (or want to find out more about starters), there's a menu that tells you about that character's specials.

4. Actually bother telling players about advanced techniques, so they don't have to find out themselves or look online. On that note, would Trials, like from Street Fighter IV, work?

I'm sure the main demographic of this game would love this. Because most people who play fighters take the time to learn the long combos and advanced techniques of other fighters (re: button mashing.) People who care enough to learn the game will look for info, it would kill the vibe of the game to feed it to players.

On topic, though, I really like the idea of a mini adventure mode for each character.

I'd like to see some minigames talking use of 3DS specific hardware. Cameras would be useful for stages: most rudimentary use would be QR code distribution of "normal Stage builder" stages (assuming it gets extended in SSB4), then we could see something like "convert drawing to stage", and if team wants something completely ridicoulus, then they could add a mode in which what is on camera is the stage (i.e. your friends wave behind the 3DS and their hands crash the fighters).

Gyros on the other hand could be used in some minigames, but I can't come up with anything really worthwile.

I want a stage where you can just draw lines and they can last up to three seconds. I would always put walls to block people from dying as best as I can. If you are able to draw the lines, then you can't be a fighter in the game.

You know, all of Nintendo's systems since the DS (the GCN and SNES had it, but the handheld systems didn't) have had 4 face buttons, yet we've only ever assigned three things to the face buttons in Smash (Attack, Specials, Jump). How about we have customizable attacks, where you can go in a menu, and assign various attacks to, say, the Y button for certain characters, that way not only are there a bunch of characters, but they're also customizable, adding a whole new dimension to how people play characters, You could even let us tweak their stats a bit.

I would love to see individual Target Tests back, as well as Board the Platforms making a return. Maybe even individualize Race to the Finish games. And #1 would be interesting, maybe only specific characters for each storyline?

Sharing of Stage Builder stages through Streetpass.
Also, we should be able to make Break the Target stages in Stage Builder and share them.

See, now this I would like. Honestly it'd be great if we got to customize our own costumes and share those as well over Street/SpotPass. If snapshots are as prevalent as they were in Brawl, I would like to see those being shared as well. I feel that StreetPass is hugely potential for a heavily multiplayer focused game such as this.

they could have ghost data like in dissidia that would analyze your playstyle and transmit it via ghost data
