Hey I'm Sp0nge, been playing Smash for 7 years, and I've been trying to find my way into the competitive community for Smash 4 since this year. I guess that's sort of why I joined. Uh, I guess I'll answer the questions from the sticky
Who do you main in your Smash game(s) of choice? Why?
I main Bowser because he's very underrepresented, and because in tournament I found I made the least mistakes with him. This is mostly because with fast characters, I'll just throw stuff out randomly, but Bowser really has to commit to most of his moves, so naturally I don't throw out unsafe moves as often.
Why have you joined Smashboards? How did you hear about the site?
Whoops, answered this already. I don't even know how I heard about the site, probably through googling something else smash related. I've been lurking for a while though, I just decided to join now.
Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to?
I've gone to 3 tournaments (at Versus in South Florida) mainly as a learning experience lol. I haven't done that well so far, but that's definitely to be expected. My goal is to just get one more win before getting knocked out of bracket every time I go. That said, my new goal is 3 wins. It's a bit of a stretch because I don't play well under pressure, but hopefully that will be fixed in good time (or maybe you people have some advice in dealing with that...?

Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.! Anime, sports, other games, etc.

The past two years, I think there were few anime that I really liked. Aside from my top 5, the few that I thought stood out were Ping Pong, Food Wars, and of course, Jojo's (I know it's really popular among Smashers lol). Most of the anime I like are a bit older.
As for games, I mainly play RPGs. I like Final Fantasy, Persona, Fire Emblem, Chrono Trigger, Bravely Default, Paper Mario, Kingdom Hearts, you name it lol. Just not Pokemon after gen 3. I like a lot of Nintendo games as well.
I'm also a big fan of Hearthstone. Before Smash, I played Pokemon TCG competitively, as well as other games casually, but I think Hearthstone is the best and easiest to pick up. If anyone plays, my username is Hentailordxx #1294
My last interest is longboarding/pennyboarding. Not much to say there, it's just really fun.
What other communities are you a part of? Clubs at school, other forums?
Uh, nothing really. I mean I have friends, and I go to school, if that counts .-. I used to be a part of a lot more, but I suppose preparing to move out was a huge factor in me not wanting to be a part of more stuff. I'll stick with Smash though, because I'm sure my college will have a team or something.
