Wii U Stage Select Rules For Both Tournaments

Starter Stages
• Battlefield/Miiverse
• Final Destination
• Smashville
• Town & City
• Dreamland

Counterpick
• Lylat Cruise
• Castle Siege
• Delfino Plaza
• Duck Hunt
• Halberd

* Miiverse is treated as Battlefield during the stage ban phase. If Battlefield is banned, then Miiverse is also banned, and vice versa.

Gentleman's Rule: Players MUST both agree on the same stage. Stages MUST be omega, if you don't choose the stages on the list above.

If you don't know how stage striking works please read below:

- This tournament will use starter and counterpick stage select
- Order of events: Pick characters, then stage striking.
- First stage ban is decided by the winner of rock, paper, scissors (2/3) from the stage list in this order: Winner(1) – Loser (2)-Winner (1).
- Omega stages are considered the same as Final Destination for striking purposes
-After each game, the winning player will ban 2 stages, and the loser will select the next stage.
-Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
-DSR: You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.

-Allowed controllers: GameCube Controller, WiiU Pro Controller, Wii Remote, Wiimote + Nunchuck
Note: 3DS systems are not preferred, but if you must they are allowed. We also provide a limited number of controllers, but you MUST return it after each match.

Set-ups are more than welcome and appreciated to help the tournaments run more smoothly.
Any questions? Post below or check us out on Facebook!

I will keep you updated if there are any rule changes.
