Suicides just suck, right?

of course we all been there. we all came down to it where we probly did it on our first life or our very last where it matterd the most. all in all, im sure we probly killed our selfs, and accidently got a suicide. if you say no, then you aint a smasher. even the pros do it once in while, even in free play or maybe tourney. of course suicides suck, we hate them. sometimes we even say, "yeah i could of won if it wasnt for that suicide" or "man, start over i killed my self in the begining". so what character do you think is easy to kill its self with? does it make ourselfs better or just frustrates us to the point where the grip on our controllers are about to break cuz were sqeezing it to hard. we try to do something fancy at times or our fingers just slip. tell me about the stock that matterd the most.

p.s. i think fox is easiest to kill himself. foward B of course.

Oh course we all make mistake sometimes... Also, I think you should call this thread by its technical term "Self-Destruct: We do it all the time..."

As for me self-destructing, the most hated one would be Jigglypuff's Pound with an Up-tilt to safety... I sometime forget to tilt the control stick towards the side for another Pound, so I ended up singing my way to death...

I suicided a bunch of times doing a waveshine. ANd I was nervous from recording the battle, so it sucked. In a crew battle, I shuffled a dair into a shielding Peach(on the edge) and I killed myself. Man that sucked!

Today, I saw Ken sucide with Fox on one of the videos.

SDs suck! And it is probably the easiest with Fox.

Actually, suicide is one of the leading causes of me losing in SSBM. I am currently working on being calm when recover on to the stage instead of being overly exited.

Suicides suck pretty bad. Fox is probably a character who suffers them most. Insane speed + forward B + shinespike attempts = higher potential for suicide. Practice reduces suicide percentages. Also, getting stuck below the edge while trying to recover with upB using shiek, and more recently with my low-tier endeavors, zelda's up teleport. Most of my suicides result from airdodge at edge or failed edgeguarding/spiking attempts with marth.

Oh god, I HATE SDing. Back when me and my friends used items, i would constantly die 2 to 3 times per match from some explosion or another. Nowadays, if I ever play a space animal, it's a guaranteed suicide once per match. And even using my main, samus, results in an sd once every couple of matches when i either grapple too close to the stage and die, or do a rising grapple when trying to sweetspot the edge, miss, and fall to my death. AARGH!

I SD in almost every match. I'm horrible at avoiding killing myself. I'm especially bad with ganondorf. I screw up so many times when I try to edge hog/guard. It sucks!

i'd say probabaly the easiest to SD with is either falcon or fox, due to their speed (falling speed and just overall)

SD'ing when you're trying to wd --> edgehog is the worst, cause if you botched the wd, or if you're too close the the edge, then you die, and your opponent lives.

Playing Ganon can lead to a lot of suicides as well.

That's why I like to play Samus, Peach, and G&W. Harder to suicide with them.

Ah, yes. The most common SD is the Foward B with the Space animals.

Usually my SDs with Samus happen right after I jump out of the stage to kill someone. I do Down Bs to reach the stage but sometimes I miss them and end up falling. I hate it when I miss the grapple beam also.

What do you say to someone who constantly blames his death on suicides, in which coincidently whenever i happen to get one of his stocks. Its always "I could of teched that oh gay gay gay!" or "you only won because I SD'd". Every match that I win he blames on SD's (my brother does that is) so what do i say? Saying no johns wont help because he has no idea what a john is and wont listen to me when I try and explain it.
