Suicidal

Like any good Falcon, I play offensively. Problem is, I play too offensively. Falcon gets combo'd easily, but all I focus on is doing as much damage as possible without taking into consideration my own damage. Also, I fall off the stage a lot trying to fastfall dair.

So, how do you play defensively? Should I concentrate more on my opponent than making sure my combos link effectively? Am I just stupid? Will I learn with time? Or is that just how I play my Falcon and there's nothing wrong with it as long as I kill my opponent more than I kill myself?

lol You will learn with time and experience. I still kill myself every once in a while, but as I was learning CF's limits I would suicide a lot edgeguarding and trying to finish combos. After enough times of trial and error, you'll learn how far you can and can't go offstage before it's impossible to recover.
