Suggestions

I am thinking of getting Pokemon Pearl and I was wondering which starter should I choose. I don't want Piplup. What kind of team should I have? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd recommend Chimchar. 1st gym is rock, and the 2nd or 3rd gym (i think) is grass, so that would be your best bet.

you can get eggs of any team you want...

my team was all 3 starters, gastly, dratini, and larvitar. I got them traded as eggs, so when they hatch, they're yours.

Start with Chimchar.

As for teams, get a Starly and Shinx for your in-game team.

Um....
Chimchar is my favorite starter. Starly is a good pokemon, and catchable early in the game. Shinx is a good early electric type. Geodude is okay.

Or were you expecting us to build your final team for you?

like everyone else says. go with chimchar. starly is ok...and its better to have a pachirisu than a shinx 'cuz it learns spark like really eraly.

dude theyre all sweepers. most likely physical sweepers. get a wall or a tank.

You can beat the game with your starter and a pokemon like Kadabra. You don't need help with something like this.
