So I've had Brawl since the midnight release in march of 2008; I went with a friend of mine who also bought the game, and ever since we've more or less been rivals. For the first year or so we were more or less neck and neck at skill level; sometimes he would beat me to a pulp in a night and vice versa. However, throughout the past few months he has pulled away from me in the race and it seems that any time we play lately he has the upper hand in the matches (though I still win a decent amount). However this happened, clearly the solution to my problem would be to improve my game! I've been playing a lot of people on smash boards to round out my skills as opposed to playing only my friend, but even this is not enough to get me up to his skill level again. Does anybody have any suggestions for me to get back the upper hand? We all know how frustrating it can be to lose night after night.
