The Bob-ombs where obviously stupid because they were random, encouraged boring ledge camping, and ledge camping could easily stall for a while so it was not even guaranteed to be over quickly. Obviously this jankfest was not suited for competitive play. But now Sudden Death has been greatly improved and is 100% deterministic, does not reward boring strategies, and is almost guaranteed to finish quickly. So does this mean Sudden Death will be accepted in competitive tournaments?
