These are the English names I've found for the Subspace Emissary Enemies:

  • Primid
  • Boom Primid
  • Roader
  • Poppant
  • Bytan
  • Trowlon
  • Shaydas
  • Auroros
  • Greap
  • The R.O.B. Squad
  • Spaak
  • Glunder
  • Mite

    From previous games:
  • Goomba
  • Koopa
  • Paratroopa
  • Hammer Bros.

The first list only contains original, made-for-Brawl enemies. It is also incomplete. If you know the name of other ones, please tell me so I can add them.

I personally am not pleased with these names. I think they sound like a third-grader with an overactive imagination came up with them. This may seriously hurt my enjoyment of playing The Subspace Emissary. When I'm battling a Spaak, which is a fluffy white cloud that sometimes turns black and gets nasty, I will not be able to resist rolling my eyes. This will of course break my concentration and hurt my performance. What are your thoughts?

First off, nice catch. Second, the names work for me. If I recall correctly, the Kirby games had enemies with similar names. And, while it's a bit of a stretch, most of the enemies in Mario Bros. have names that are play-on-words. So I don't think a lot of people would be bothered.

BTW, That Shadyas thing looks like it means buisness, doesn't it?

Not trying to crtiticize you, but why are you so bothered with the NAMES? Its not like you have to call them that. Most of the time, i just make up names for them, like **** head or **** sucker. If you're so fussed call it purple thing or something.

Those Mites....are kinda cool, did you see them doing thos flying kicks, somehow there is just something cool about a giant wave of all those little guys with there feet extended, plus did you notice that some of the enemies have the SE symbol on them, the Prymid, and the Mite's heads for example

Hmm...it seems as though most people disagree with me.

Ok, that's fine. I hope I'll get used to the names. It's just, they're too...well, spaaky. Too spaaky.

I had some more names here than were on the Dojo. Namely, ones found in the E for All videos.

They all sound a lot like typical Kirby enemies, and Subspace emissary takes a lot from Kirby Games (specially Kirby Super Star) so i'm OK with them.

The Subspace topic is, suprisingly enough, there for discussing things like this.
