Subspace Crash?

I've been playing the Subspace Emissary on PM 3.6. During the fight with Giant Diddy, if he d-smashes on the left slope, the game crashes immediately.

Since Giant Diddy and Falco/Fox/Diddy spawn next to each other on the left side, G-Diddy almost always throws out a d-smash, and crashes the game as soon as the battle starts.

Is there any way to fix this, or do I just have to get lucky?

Hmm...I played that part in p:m 3.6 and I didn't notice any problems (apart from giant diddy being annoying) and I didn't replace anything important. Just download p:m and try again.
