I started to compare Pac-man in SFxT to the one in Super Smash Bros. I see Smash as a fighting game, just to point that out if anyone wants to highlight that first. Also, I am using as much information I can identify from the reveal and gameplay of Pac-Man

Also, feel free to state your opinion about anything and correct me.
Blue - Something that is the same.

First, I'm just going to list this out so it makes thing easier to compare.
Street Fighter x Tekken
- Has colored eyes, not really impactful.
- Used a Mokujin (no idea what this is, but assumig it was that tree looking thing).

- He could shoot Pac-Dots
- Does a flip attack.

- Super Art is Pac-Laser
- Fights the horribly obese Megaman
- Has small forms of dialogue.

EDIT: Someone pushed create thread, continueing from where I left off.

Super Smash Bros
- Does a back flip at the end of his neutralA combo.
- Throws a Pac-dots

- Fights NES Megaman
- His body only.
- Projectiles.
- Final Smash is guessed as Pac-man eating players.
- For now, no forms of speech.
- Old School appearence.

I'm a fan of both, but I'm more excited to see him in two fighting games!

Well, he doesn't throw the dots. Pac seems to dash forward and the dots are really just a visual indicator of his path/reference to his game.

But interesting, nevertheless. I had no idea that game had either Pac-Man or Megaman in it (even if it wasn't really them).

I think TVTropes described the SFxT one best
"this little guy does not have a wife nor a little kid, or a personality for that matter. This Pac-Man seems to be a literal personification of the hungry yellow creature from his first game, who had no character whatsoever."
Which is supported by stuff in-game
"A living being whose origin and motive are wrapped in mystery. It is an omnivorous life form that consumes anything in its path"

Also the part where SFXT Pac-Man seemed like he was ready to "force" Bad Box Art Mega Man into a certain situation.

Always needs to be mentioned when talking about cross Tekken.

Wow that video is seriously messed up. I'm going to have nightmares of robo Pac-Man now. >:| Don't know how I've never heard of this before today.

I'm glad our Pac-Man is more straight up.

Personally, I like both... Capcom did really a good job on him, and I'm not even kidding... If Smash were a game like SFxTK, having the guest character just pure, and without any other content from his games (like stages, musics, etc), I think that Pac-Man in SFxT would be the most "faithful" homage for the character by his attributes itself.. I mean, moveset and all... characteristics and such...

Not belittling Sakurai's work on him; it works perfectly well, and give much respect to the character; mainly bringing his design from Pac-Man World (which is generally the most liked by everyone); but in the aspect of the moveset... which in SFxTK is heavily based on the Pac-Man World series (and not bringing other games with him), and some other things like his insatiable hunger in contrast; the original Arcade game running in the Mokujin-bot's back... it's amazing.

but overall, I think that both are pretty great, IMO. .. But, with the amount of references we already saw on Smash4 (related to character, not only the character himself) wins with advantage.

Well technically it's Mokujin doing all the actions in SFXT, Pac-Man is just giving the commands.

On a serious note though I like both move sets but part of me wished that Pac-Man wasn't strapped to Mokujin cause I would've liked Mokujin to be his own character personally, say what you will about the copy characters of Tekken and Soul Calibur, I personally really like them cause if you want to get good with them you're encouraged to get good with everyone else in the roster.

I actually enjoy the SFxT version of Pac-Man. He was envisioned as the literal personification of the action of eating. SFxT's Pac-Man has been the most faithful adherent to that concept.

I'm personally hoping Pac-Man taps into Pac-Man:SFxT's moveset for a lot of his standard attacks. I don't like the idea of him relying solely on Assists; that's M.U.G.E.N.-levels of laziness if he's just going to do that.

He's not relying solely on assists. So far only his Smash attacks and his neutral special do that.
