Streaming PM with HDMI Capture card

I'll cut to the skinny:

I recently inherited a "AVerMedia Game Recorder -C985 Live Gamer HD" from a friend who wasn't using it. My question is if I could use it to stream PM from a CRT or other lagless source.

It has an HDMI input and output, as well as audio input and output. It is also internal and connected to my video card. From what I understand it is a nice capture card, and I want to use it to help my local scene.

If anyone could help me out or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
