SmAshiok
IRL Twilight Princess
Hello, SmashBoards - I've procrastinated way too long on signing up here, given my interest in Smash 4 right now.
That said, Smash 4 has been the only smash game I've played competitively, as I'm fairly young at 18 and never really had the chances to play Brawl or any predecessors competitively. I dabbled in Brawl with my siblings and my friends, but was never amazing at it. I thought I was really good, since I was probably the best player out of all my friends and family when I was really into it. Olimar was my go-to, and is still one of my favorite characters to play (although as Alph, hell yeah) in the new game, but I also played Wolf and King Dedede.
Jumping forward in time, I'm now a King Dedede main, with TONS of other characters I can play. Given how much better I think he got in the new game, he just feels right and I feel unstoppable whenever I play as him. Even when I lose, because I always have fun playing as my favorite fat bird. In no particular order, I also seriously enjoy playing Duck Hunt, Charizard, Alph, Bowser Jr., and many others. I've put lots of practice into the characters I like playing, and have dug into their tricks and quirks to the best of my ability.
However, I want to get better, and get my name out there. I recently got a capture card and microphone with a buddy of mine to start up a YouTube channel to just play games on together for fun. I think it's also great opportunity to kick off as SmAshiok, and engage myself within the YouTube community with all the smash related content that I have to offer. This is a great starting point for that, since I'm sure many of you have experience with streaming and video editing - stuff that I have yet to learn about but am eager to sink my teeth into.
I'd love to get to know some of you, and maybe even face off in Smash 4, so I can show you what I'm made of, and put all my practice to good use!
I think that's all I need to say for now, so, hello again! I'm very excited to be a part of this community moving forward. :D
