Still no info on Board the Platforms/Break the Targets

Will they have character specific stages, different levels, or both? And it's been 15 years Sakurai, when is board the platforms coming back?
Side note, I loved Kirby Air Ride, so I'm glad so see a mode like Smash Run in this installment.

As for Break the Targets...

FEAR NOT...maybe. The footage for Smash Run showed a short "Break the Targets" section to get a treasure chest. If the way it was presented in the footage foreshadowed anything appearing in the main game, then, like Brawl, it would likely be based off difficulty rather than character.

Personally, I would like character specific stages that change based off of difficulty.

You can see a clip of ZSS breaking some targets in Smash Run to open a chest to get powerups. So they will still be there is some capacity.

I'm all for nostalgia, but I'd love to see a new mini game mode. Break the Targets for sure, but have something new and fresh also!

Even though I love break the targets and board the platforms I would rather see race to the finish come back.
