Does anyone know if you can cancel a sticky walk into a pivot? I feel like its possible but wondering if anyone else has played around with it or uses it?

There was this video that someone linked to me one time where a marth did a sticky walk facing away from his opponent to bait the shield grab (which missed because he was marth and marth ducks when he dashes). He did a pivot grab afterwards and it landed. It looked super sick, but I don't think it's very applicable lol. I definitely never use it and I don't think I've ever seen someone do it aside from that one game in that video.

You're talking about something that takes a lot of tech skill. Not many people have that degree of finesse with the joystick. You must return to the neutral position very quickly, yet not abruptly. And then pivot which is hard enough out of a dash dance. Sure it can help you but if there are other holes in your game I'd dedicate time to those first. Remember it's one thing of you can do it once every few times in your practice environment, and another if you can do it 75% of the time in tournament.
