Steven

Since Steven Stone was one of the two Pokémon characters who were on the Polls. Other being Gardevior who was de-confirmed. My opinion is that Steven will work like Pokémon trainer. I mean come on it’s a waste of a game mechanic if it’s only got one use so here’s my Move set for Steven. And sakuria is gimmicky like that.

Steven much like Red will stand in the background and throw his pokemon to do the fighting for him. What a wimp, But since he wont be a starter he will use slightly stronger less fast characters.

Steven should use Scizor then Lucario then Metagross.

I mean come on this idea is full of win

Lucario is the next Pokemon rep and we don't need another Pokemon Trainer like character, it takes away the uniqueness of it.
When has that ever stopped sakuria, steven was also in the polls so at least he would be a charachter with a ok chance

That's why I hate the polls, makes people think any character has a chance, chances are Pokemon Trainer is the only HUMAN pokemon rep there is going to be, you're not seeing any new tag teams like the Ice Climbers you probably won't see another Pokemon Trainer.

No way, he would totally dominate over the original Pokemon Trainer, his Pokemon pwn way more than Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard.
Lucario should be his own slot.

That's just what I was saying...Lucario needs its own slot...but if Steven had to be in (and assuming Lucario got its own slot), I would expect...hmmm, this is actually a tough one...oh, I got it! He would have: Scizor...Lairon (Aggron=too big, Ivysaur=quadraped), and Armaldo...
give me a sec, and I'll come up with movesets;)

EDIT: got the movesets...only took me fifteen minutes:p:

Scizor:
B-X-Scissor: Scizor does a cross with its claws...short range, high knockback
>B-Fury Cutter: similar to Pit's side-B (or what we think is his side-B...the twirly thing), but scattered hitboxes...increases in power after each slash...
^B-Iron Head: Scizor's head turns to steel as it flies up at high speed
vB-Pokemon Change

Lairon:
B-Stone Edge: Lairon stomps the ground and causes a small pillar to rise from the ground
>B-Double Edge: Lairon curls into a ball and rolls...slower than Sonic, much more knockback
^B-Rock Tomb: Lairon causes a large rock to rise up from under it and launch it to the stage
vB-Pokemon Change

Armaldo:
B-Rock Polish: Armaldo's speed increases temporarily
>B-Slash: Similar to Scizor's, but better range, less knockback, and only one claw:p
^B-Ancientpower: Armaldo rises with stones surrounding it...unlike Lairon, the rocks aren't propelling Armaldo...it's moving from an ancient, mystical power...
vB-Pokemon Change

FS: all three Pokemon are released and use Sandstorm...the attack deals damage to all nearby opponents, and blocks the screen for ten seconds...

he defintly needs atleast metagross because thats his main pokemon.

And it would be awesome if his final smash is to change his pokemon to Jirachi

I was thinking Steven would be an assist trophy. He would randomly send out either Aggron, Metagross or Skarmory.

Thats just my idea.. Two Trainers playable is a bit much.

Yeah, but wouldn't Metagross be a lot harder than the others? You know, considering its size? I mean, I'll come up with a moveset...I'm actually enjoying this:p...

As for Jirachi as an FS, it's a good idea...I was just trying to stick to PT as much as I could, but if you want Steven to be more unique, using Jirachi, or maybe Dialga (a Steel-type), would be good...

So, any critiques on the movesets I have? I'll add Metagross in a sec, and maybe some other Steven-worthy Pokemon...

EDIT (@Tyrannotaur): yeah, two trainers is a bit much, but we're just speculating...I'd still prefer Lucario over anything right now...

re-EDIT: New movesets!

Metagross:
B-Meteor Mash: chargable, but not storable...Metagross slams its arm into the ground...at full charge, almost auto-KO...
>B-Zen Headbut: Metagross's head begins to glow with a strange power, and Metagross flies at high speed at the opponent...
^B-Magnet Rise: Metagross rises from magnetic power...automatically homes in on the edge, but if Metagross is too far, attack fades...
vB-Pokemon Change (oops, forgot that...I'll edit the first three...hehe)

Registeel:
B-Flash Cannon: similar to M2's Shadow Bal, but weaker and MUCH faster...
>B-Hammer Arm: Registeel slams its fist on the ground...for ten seconds, Registeel moves a bit slower, but has no-flinch-armor...
^B-Rock Climb: Registeel climbs an invisible rock wall...
vB-Pokemon Change

Claydol
B-Rapid Spin: just like Zelda's Nayru's Love, but lasts longer, and can rise...basically a combination of MK and Zelda's neut-B's
>B-Strength: Claydol throws its hands out...anyone caught in the hands is slammed to the floor
^B-Stealth Rock/Psychic combo: Claydol first slams a rock on the edge...this part automatically hits the edge...after that, it uses Psychic to propel itself towards the rock...the rock will then hurt on impact (opponents, not Claydol:p)...but if Claydol is too far away, it will fall short...

NEW FS: Dialga: Steven calls back w/e Pokemon is out, and sends out Dialga...Dialga uses Roar of Time...
