Smash Rookie
Hello i'm leaxar from Dominican Republic, i have been playing ssbm since it came out even tho i was a kid.

, and on Melee.( I tried smash 4 but it just doesnt get me hyped :l )
I have been following the smashboards since quite a few years but never bothered to participate in the community.
My purpose on the island im in is to help expand the smash comunity as much as posible cause this is one of the best comunities i've ever seen in the gaming scene.
I've never been to a tournament,i dont feel im ready to go to one (yet).
I first played smash 64 and fell in love with the smash franchise, then melee came out i played it a few times but didnt got too attached to it. I always heard the names M2K(my personal fav),Mang0 and Ken of course they were legends to us and always watched the footage that was available at the time.
But then i saw my cousin always crushing me so hard that i decided to step up my game or stop playing, i played for hours understanding characters and their moves (i didnt know about the canceling or the wavedash back then) so after a couple of weeks i went to his house and gave him a little bit more of trouble but still lost,
then i saw him getting less lag when landing from attacks and made a research (ohboy).
Thats when it started i got my gamecube back bought a copy of melee and started from scratch again, i learned every aspect of the game yet still having difficulties to apply them on my game (gosh it is difficult), but now my goal is to become a top player if not the best in my country.
So any tips for or that i can have a use of would be great, anyway glad to be part of this community.
