Smash Apprentice
Smash Brothers and Sisters,
Cedar Rapids is the 2nd largest city in Iowa and yet:
We don't have a public place for weekly Smash Fests.
How can we change that?
I need you and your friends to meet me at the Cedar Rapids library to play some video games!
It would also be cool if you could bring a set up for your favorite Smash game and your preferred controller. (Personally, I'll be bringing a Smash 4 set up every week. If I manage to wrangle down a decent CRT I might bring a Melee / PM set up too.)
I've been discussing this with the Iowa Smash! Facebook group and the plans are to have our first meeting this Thursday June 11th from 5:30-8:30 in the Tech Classroom.
There was enough demand for Monday that I reserved the Tech Classroom for the following week Monday June 15th as well.
All that's left to do is to come and play!
If I build this, will you come?
