So I live in a town where there is literally no scene..and I travel 45mins when I want to play which isn't bad but, it sucks when I can't play more than once a week. Any ideas on how to start a scene where there isn't one...it's definately a big enough of a town but never met anyone that was interested enough. If I do get someone interested enough how do I prevent the whole..skill gap making it more unapproachable of a game?

Well, if you have a Facebook group or something for your town/region, you could advertise that you are looking for smashers near you. More importantly, if you are looking to start up a scene, then you need to find a place to play with the people you find, which might lead to you hosting, so prepare for that. Plus you have to get a lot of TV's in there and stuff like that.

Basically, advertise and then look for a location. I haven't really started any kind of scene but these things are what I would think of off the top of my head.
