Star KOed as a Trophy?

I have noticed something in a couple of videos seen from the official E for All videos thread.
When you get knocked out of the stage and you are Star KOed you will be a trophy.

Improvement on detail?

If you look closely, he has the Trophy golden foot.

Did anyone else notice this? Or any other details that have been updated?

It does look that way, but I kind of hope not, after all, how can they make their death screams if they're a trophy?

I noticed it before. It made perfect sense if you correlate it with the subspace movies.

When you get blasted away, or .. "lose" a match, you turn into a trophy.

examples :

1) Mario Vs. Kirby. Mario wins, and the next video shows mario walking towards kirby trophy and reviving him by touching the mount.

2) After Mario gets blasted away by the cannon, Pit finds him in the Clouds. Mario is a Trophy. Pit revives him, probably the same way as Mario revived kirby

If you watch them hit the screen, they're normal, so I don't know why they'd only become a trophy during a star KO. I think you're just seeing Sonic's sneakers.

it's his foot, watch 4 seconds before it happens, you can see he just came out of invicibility. the player is just so bad that he fell off instantly.

I think I saw the gold platform trophy thingy on his shoes.

Well I think it fits with the whole trophy theme of the game. Although I think that in multiplayer mode the characters are the real deal hence the unique entrances. But either way they're nothing more than mere entertainment lol. Either way is interesting.
