Does anyone else agree that stale moves removes knockback way too much?

Tell that to the Charizard Flare Blitz spammers, the Meta Knight Tornado users, the counter spammers, the shulk "BACK SCRATCH", both pits uppercuts, little mac dash attacks, Sonic B special...

They get spammed over and over and in 2v2 for glory it's the stupidest thing ever because if you're fighting one guy being hit three times in a row by flare blitz sucks. It's not like you can really prepare for it either because you're already being pressured or attacking someone else. Grabbing someone? lol nope Flare blitz!

If anything stale moves need even more negatives if you're using them over and over again.

In 1v1 it ends up not being much of an issue but in FFA or 2v2 it's really irritating to see people get rewarded for having zero skill.

Nope not at all. It's hardly even noticeable to be honest.

:4charizard:You are just salty Cherryzard players like me can punish your roll spam in 2vs2 with Flare Blitz :4charizard:

No seriously, I play my main Charizard so often that I get a hang how to punish player for rolling and air dodge failing: That's why I two stocked a Mac player after he two stocked me for the first time. I felt proud!

(Also being Charizard in 2vs2 is really tough if your partner doesn't corporate with you. And especially if they are mac with KO Punch and they fail to use it while you are GRABBING the enemy...like why!!)

Ehm about the topic...I think I only noticed stale moves with charizard and lil'mac jab overuse. Otherwise stale moves isn't really strong in this game. Not that it doesn't exist, but it isn't as troublesome as in Brawl

Yeah, takes serious talent to do a side B after waiting a moment. /s/

Anyways, I'm talking about people who literally spam it over and over and over and over and over. This applies to any character not just Charizard, so don't get salty just because I called out your scrub Zard players. I did the same for other characters as well, don't take it personally.

Two stocking a Mac? Congrats, every other character in the game can do the exact same thing. Let me find my "unique butterfly" badge for you.

As for that last part, they don't have to cooperate, all one guy has to do is hold your attention for a second and then you spam Flare Blitz. If I grab someone, am dodging an attack, or I am attacking, it doesn't take skill to spam side B over and over. You should be forced to mix it up but you aren't, the game is rewarding people for using stale moves because the punishment is less then the reward.

Stale moves is mostly notable in that your attacks are dealing less damage than normal. You'll notice this by spamming projectiles a lot. However, it seems that it doesn't have a huge impact on attack knockback, especially when you're trying to finish off Master Core's Source Form.

:shaker:Your sodium levels are pretty high. I might suggest instead of complaining like a little kid you should just learn how to deal with the spammer in 2vs2 glory, and if you can't do that / enjoy that, none of my business.
Also getting 2 stocked and the literally following battle 2 stocking the same enemy is great. If you can't appreciate that, well it kinda shows what kind of attidute you have.

I think stale moves are in a good place, people should definitely not be rewarded for spamming the same moves over and over, especially projectiles *cough*:4duckhunt:*cough*
