Stages and Stage Builder

I know Project M is mainly used for tourney players, but I really wish there was option to turn on some of the stages I miss and to use stage builder stages with Project M gameplay. It's kind of a weak analogy and most of you will probably disagree with me on this point but I feel like taking out some of these stages is like taking trick plays out of a sports team's playbook or only playing football in a dome. It's too vanilla.

They took out of the microgames on WarioWare, Mushroomy Kingdom is missing, etc. There are already so many stages ideal for more pure battle (I'm assuming this is the reason some stages and their features are missing; to make matches more about skill and less about the stage), and the WarioWare stage becomes very similar to any other stage by doing that.

I mean they left the smashball in and I find that really gimmicky, but at least you do get the option to turn items on and off. I wish they were able to do something like allow you to turn certain stages on and off and maybe they'd have certain stages off by default.

Project M is great but I'm disappointed they took away certain options. Is there any way you guys could bring back the stuff that's missing? Maybe even just by creating an alternative version or something? Can this be modded? I don't mean to be too negative, you guys do great work and I appreciate all of it. I speak as a fan.

If you want the old stages back you can delete the modded stage and it will use the vanilla brawl stage (don't ask me how but I'm 99% sure this is possible). As for stage builder custom stages, that is impossible because PM loads using the stage builder as an exploit. It's the only way to load Project M. However check out /Brawl Vault. You can download custom stages other people have made that overwrite some of the lame stages in PM to make them a lot better/completely different. I guess that is kind of like having custom stages. It's a pretty simple procedure to add these new stages in I'm sure you can easily find out how via Google.

Actually, the stage builder exploit is only required by hackless users. If the OP loads by homebrew, then they can remove the code that disables stage builder stages. I'm not aware of what that line of code is tho, so I'm no help there.

Also, if you go into the random stage selection edit you can decide which stages you want to appear when you pick random. And the second page of stages is on there too, so essentially you can disable the stages you don't want and make the random button go only to the stages of your choosing.
