Stage Making, Model Importing, Animating, and PSA noob

I'm looking around but I am absolutely lost on this site sadly :(

Can anyone link me to any of the proper up to date guides on how to do this stuff? I used to join in on texture hacking but looking into importing custom characters and stages and doing movesets for them.

Any help would do.
