I'm slightly still new to this whole modding thing, but I've been wondering how I can get the Men Selmap and Men Selchr files to work for a certain stage I've changed. The numbers are there to identify which map is which on the rest of what I've done (the stage select icons and name and everything, just not the partially transparent game series logo that appears on the bottom of the stage screen or the symbol for the game series that appears...) I'm trying to put Molgera's Room over Brinstar (Project M) ... Help please

Using BrawlBox and I don't plan on downloading anything else... is there a way with BrawlBox
Hope you plan on dealing with using ****-tier tools, in that case. Why have the simplicity of Brawl Stage Manager's drag-and-drop functionality when you can overwhelm and frustrate yourself with the messy interface of Brawl Box? After all, rifling through file after file with a thousand components in a thousand places has a certain headache-inducing charm that Brawl Stage Manager's all-in-one interface just lacks.

Just get Brawl Stage Manager. It's easier. You just drag and drop, for everything; .PACs, .RELs, stage previews, stage icons and names, even music and the title for those tracks.

If you're that new to modding your PM build, then you should be warned that Brawl Box (at least where stage/BRSTM/costume management is concerned) is a frustrating tool to have to use, not to mention that editing just one stage is a mundane and time-consuming task. Using the Brawl Stage and Costume Manager tools will make everything faster and easier.

Seriously, doesn't this look so much better than Brawl Box?

Want to open a new stage up? Just click it in the left-hand pane. Need to replace Battlefield with a different stage? Drag the .PAC for the new stage into the center preview. Is there a .REL required? Drag and drop into the stage data in the top-center above the center preview. Are you needing to update the stage portraits? Just drag and drop the pictures onto the previews. Stage title? Drag and drop, or 'generate name' with your own font and size settings. Emblems? Drag and drop, or modify through the PAT0 maps. BRSTMs? Again, just drag and drop into the center-bottom area specialized for them, and even rename them.

**** Brawl Box.

Brawl Box isn't hard to use, nor is it confusing, I just simply can't figure out that small thing for it. I'll use BSM for stages I suppose, it does look alot easier to just dump your files. And off topic here, but do you (or anyone else) know where I can find a good, working Ganon's Tower stage and images to go with it. I know how to make my own images, it's just I'd rather not cus it takes up more of my time lol

if you cant find images, its easy enough to make your own.

start a special brawl with 'clear' on. play time mode alone, stand still, pause and take pics.

theres a bin to jpg converter about to use to convert, then just get the pictures the correct size.

I know how to do it (thank u anyways) but It's more tedious and time consuming... it doesn't so much bother me now anymore, but it's still a hassle. Turns out Ganon's Tower didn't work on Yoshi's Island (Melee), so I had to remove it... but now I'm working on fixing my MiscData 80 file in my Common 5 pac... all files are f***ed up

It's still within the topic, but now it's another problem: Is there a surefire way to simply replace the "MiscData(80)" file in the Common5.pac because now it's just a random jumbled mess of crap and all icons are black and white causing the game to freese just before stage select
