How would I go about rotating a stage's model in Brawlbox? I'm trying to make Melee Venom out of Corneria and have managed to get the collisions well enough, but I can't figure out how to rotate the Great Fox. I've changed the rotation of the ship through animations and it's "T-pose" but none of that seems to work.

you need to rotate the stage on either the X or Y axis (you'd have to see which one in the program). one done, you can then try the collision editor in BBox or BrawlWall. either way, you'll probably have to build your own collision lines for the characters to stand on.

I did that, and made collisions. The collisions work fine, but the model stays facing the way it does normally. My characters are either inside the ship or walking on air.

Okay, just to see if I've done this right so far:

1. Set the Y rotation of the StgDxCorneriaGfox bone to 90 while the ship is in it's neutral pose (not in an animation or anything)

2. Find the .coll file for the Great Fox and manually build collisions from there. (NOTE: Even after rotating in the previous step, the ship is facing its normal direction when I open the .coll, I need to use the slider to get it oriented the right way before I work on it, that might mean I screwed up the previous step)

make sure that the 90% has been applied across all animations (the list on the right). if you miss one it won't show up.

Okay, I rotated it, and I think I did the collisions right, but I'm having some problems.

The slope on the right side top of the ship (right next to the top right wing) effectively isn't there. I can just run straight through it and fall. Also, dropping through one of the top wings will cause you to fall through the bottom one, despite it not being a fall-through platform. And to top it off, I get frequent freezes, usually on stage end.

Here's the .pac for the stage:

with your permission, i'd like to work on this and possibly use it in the stage hacking hub. you would get credit for original idea/design.

If you added it to the stage hacking hub, I'd be willing to help work on it as well.

And just out of curiosity, was that my space Corneria you used as a base, or did you do that yourself?

I can't test it right now, but I might have fixed one problems (not the freezing, though). Here's a download, tell me if I made things better or worse: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2iymvjnnzyy
Same two problem spots, the bottom right wing and the slope to the right of the fin. Still freezes on exit, too.

Yes, it's yours. I was going to credit you if I ever got it to work.

Well, I thought I had fixed the slope for sure, there must be something else besides the thing I fixed. The bottom right wing I tried fix, but I wasn't positive. I don't really know what else it could be. Sorry I couldn't help.

Yeah, I've pretty much tried everything. I have no idea what it could be, the flags for the two slopes are exactly the same.

Is there a way to add collision faces in Brawlbox? Maybe I could fix it starting with a fresh surface...

lol, I just answered this on the main board too. You can add new collision planes by holding Alt and dragging the mouse.
