I got this idea from corneria when your fox or falco but instead look at it like this:

In Metaknights ship level what if he had the powerr to alter the stage for example chage the platforms or make them disaappear.

In any pokemon stage what if when your Pikachu or any other pokemon you got a slight power boost or you have higher chances of getting rare pokemon from the pokeball item.

Any comments I think it could used to an extent. I don't think it should be so severe that people won't adapt to the other stages or characters in the game.

You would be talking about having a character getting a home field advantage... Don't really think that would really work since that would create unfairness in the game... Especially tournement play when the loser gets to counter-pick stages, not a great idea...

I think theres some discussion 'bout this already, but lets leave that to mods..

Well anyways, I like the idea of "somethingsuddenlyhappensandeveryonedies" but little less, lethal. Something minor is always fun to see happening. And it should not give any advances to anyone, just change the gameplay somehow to everybody.

Oh yeah.. It's ALWAYS good to have change to turn almost anything off or on on figting games.

Yoshi could summon eggs from the sky on the Yoshi Story place. Bowser could send out fireballs, if they made a Bowser's castle. You should be able to turn this option on/off, its just not fair most of the time.

Oh! That would work! What if it was an option to use if you want? You've made me somewhat happier MetalLuigi

Its a good and bad Idea. Turning it off would be nice but there should still be several levels without it even if it was on.

As an option, yes. As a default, no. I can picture Pikachu using thunder on his stage to bring down like 5 thunderbolts.

That would be unfair for characters that wont have there own stage and pretty much brakes smash in a way, leave the stage effects to pummel ur enemy and give him a final blow... what the point in that?...

^^^ love your sig-out with Bush in with Kong!

Anyways, think about it. What if you were both at really high damage and you call in the ship to blast you out. Or if your out and jumping in they would hit you and knock you back out.

it could just be something that is purely visual. like bowser could have an army of paratroopas fly in the backround.
