SSS and Main screen screw~up

Hi! Okay so I downloaded the hackless version and it runs fine, but i'm having a few problems. first, I tried to update it, but it says "cannot store update". Second, the menu is exactly like regular Brawl, not like the pictures on the Project M website. Lastly, when I select a stage, the game freezes when it says the message that means that it is loading. Please help!

Does your SD Card have a 2 gigabytes (GB) worth of capacity?

Do you have the gameconfig.txt file in the SD card root?
