SSP Guide-Stage Selection Portraits

I'm pretty new to smashboard so I decided to make mah first tut.
You need the following-
Brawl Box-http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=238861&page=1

A stage picture
Common5.pac-http://www.mediafire.com/?mdtddxcmaly

Alright so first take a pic of the stage you want to be on the ssp.Heres an example:

So what your going to do is,open up your pic in PhotoShop.Goto edit-and image size.Make it 64 56.

Now open up the ssp frame.Select the whole image(stage pic)copy it and paste it into the ssp frame.

Now zoom in on the image and right click on the it.(Using the rectangular manquee tool)Then click free transform.By holding shift, make it so that the stage pic is right "underneath" the
frame.

Save as a png image.
Now for the big image.Get back to your original stage pic and resize it to 176 176.Then save.Now get your common5.pac file and open it up in Brawl Box.Now expand sc_selmap_en,then expand Miscdata(80),then expand texure.Right click on the ssp you want to replace and click replace.

Then save it to private-wii-app-rsbe-pf-system.

I did every thing but nothing happens.

Im trying to replace the various portraits of Hanabow with some Wifi waiting room portraits I had created.

I downloaded sc_selmap_en.pac and replaced all the Hanabow files with my files in brawlbox and then placed it in the systems folder on my SD

Note: I made them all the same size So IDK whats going on

NOOOO.You have to use common5.pac.Inside common5.pac is sc_selmap.I'll make a link to that in the post.

Just a note, with a lot of stage expansion packs like the Classic Pack and others using Phantom Wing's code, if you set the larger picture to 176 - 176 the game will freeze right before the stage select screen. If that happens, try converting the files to 114 - 114, which is the standard for these packs.

Otherwise great tutorial, for Mac users out there you can also change the size in tools with preview.
