SSE question

I have a quick question about SSE. Will there be an option to make the second player a cpu? Because...well...you might think I'm weird for this, or maybe some of you will agree, but if I play one player, I will feel kind of lonely lol. I mean...when my friend comes over he will be player 2, but if he's at his house or something and I play the SSE, I want to have a 2nd player. It's just a lot more fun having a partner instead of playing by yourself.

So yeah, will this be an option? Can we make player 2 a cpu?

I don't think so, because if you look at the particular update, once you lose a life with your current character, you play as the alternate. So no, I think in single player you're by yourself. I was actually wondering this same thing the other day, only because I'd want to see both characters on screen at once.

I'd assume so. It wouldn't be too hard to make a CPU stand in...Didn't any E For All people here find out?
It wasn't playable at E for All; We only have the videos online to go off of, and most of those are multiplayer, if not all of them.

In single-player mode, each time you lose a life, you switch to a different character on your team and are revived as that new character until you run out of stock lives. (You choose the character order for your team members at the start of each stage.)
That's what it says on the DOJO.

Dang I hope not! Hopefully, the 2nd player is always on the screen as the cpu. Like...maybe the 2nd player is the cpu, on the screen with you, but if you want, you can have a real player 2 take over...but if you're just playing by yourself with the cpu, and you lose your lives or whatever, then you switch and take control of the cpu.

Hopefully? Maybe?

I don't think so. Watch how Diddy starts by himself, and then DK has to press start to be playable.

If it was human controlled, Player 2 would flash above Pit's head, like it does to Mario. Plus, you probably wouldn't be able to choose who you acted as, you would just be assigned to each Character.
That reasoning is preposterous. Go to 2:33 of that video you posted. P2 flashes right above Pit's head. Also, why would the damage icon be colored if it was a CPU? Sakurai even says you choose your characters on the DOJO, so unfortunately, none of your support works.

No Internet?!?
Well, if it is a Human, then they aren't the smartest I've seen.

Look at all the other Subspace videos, the Character that's following the main one acts like a CPU, in every video.

EDIT:

Go my Internet is being so slow today!

Anyway,

Oh well. My excitement for the Subspace has decreased dramatically.

How do they act like CPU's?
